From
a very young age, Dr. Ghodsian has had a passion for helping others. She spent a
year after high school as a volunteer teacher for indigenous children in the
mountains of Ecuador. She then pursued an undergraduate degree in Social Work,
accepting an internship in case management for children and adolescents with
cerebral palsy, autism, and other development disabilities. She then completed
the 4 year naturopathic medical degree program at Bastyr University, and 2 years
of clinical training at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health. During her medical
training she pursued certification in Craniosacral Therapy Level I, II and III.
She continued on to receive advanced training (approx. 100 hours) as a preceptor
with three different doctors who specialize in Craniosacral Therapy and Visceral
Manipulation. She has trained with both the Integrative Body Work Institute and
the Upledger Institute. She continues to expand her skill set in this area, with
continuing education studies.
In her practice, Dr. Ghodsian blends her expertise in counseling therapy
and bodywork techniques together with naturopathic modalities such as:
homeopathic remedies, botanical medicines, nutritional supplements, and
diet/lifestyle counseling; creating a simple, personalized treatment plan for
each patient. She strives to
uncover and treat the true cause of disease, whether physical, emotional, mental
or spiritual.

Dr. Ghodsian enjoys spending time outdoors, practicing
yoga, reading, and most of all, laughing and playing with her husband and
daughters. She believes that variety in life brings excitement and challenge.
She is an accomplished singer and performs both as a soloist and as part of a
gospel choir. She enjoys many styles of dance and has studied Jazz, Latin,
Indian, and Middle Eastern dance. In her free time, she teaches Middle Eastern
styles of dance to promote self-esteem and healthy body image in women of all
ages.
Dr. Ghodsian is currently accepting new patients of all
ages. She is available on Mondays or Fridays at Sage Clinic.
