To help my patients uncover the true cause of their disease or distress, be it physical, mental or spiritual.
To empower them to act now to change patterns, remove obstacles and reclaim their health and happiness.
Dr. Juliet Ghodsian has always had a passion for helping others. After high school, she spent one year living in Ecuador volunteering at a school for indigenous children. After she returned, she pursued undergraduate studies in counseling and social work and began working with medicinal plants. She discovered Naturopathic Medicine along the way and recognized this as the future of health care. Prior to attending medical school, Dr. Ghodsian spent the summer working as a social worker for children/teens with Cerebral Palsy and developmental disabilities. This was a formative and impactful time in her life.
As so often happens, Dr. Ghodsian has had a challenging personal health journey. After a long history of unanswered questions and challenges with conventional medical care, she was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease, a genetic autoimmune disease of the small intestine. With determination and the wonders of naturopathic medicine, homeopathy, and much personal emotional/ mental growth work she has reclaimed her health and looks forward to sharing what she has learned with others who are struggling with chronic disease.
Dr. Ghodsian has two beautiful daughters. She is fluent in written and spoken Spanish and enjoys seeing Spanish speaking patients. Dr. Ghodsian has an artistic spirit and has performed as a vocalist and a dancer throughout her life. In her free time she enjoys reading, being in nature, singing, performing and enjoying time with her family and friends.
Dr. Ghodsian studied Naturopathic Medicine at Bastyr University and received clinical training at The Bastyr Center for Natural Health. Early on in her training she discovered Osteopathic Medicine and its many body work approaches. She began to immerse herself in the additional study of Craniosacral Therapy, Cranial Osteopathy, Visceral Manipulation and Somatoemotional release. These manual therapies pair beautifully with her training in counselling and provide her with a unique skill set for helping patients process and heal the body, mind and spirit.
