Growing up with two artistic and survivalist parents has molded Dr. Erin Crossman’s creative ways of tackling problems and thinking outside the box. She grew up with the forest and ocean-side as her playground. This fostered a deep appreciation for nature, but also a resourcefulness in utilizing her surroundings. These experiences were complimented with different established scientific influences and critical thinkers within her family. From a very young age Dr. Crossman was taught the importance of respecting each individual’s way of life and personality and aims to face the world with an open heart and open mind.
Dr. Crossman is not one to give up and is commonly recognized for her hard work and determination. Along with experience in scientific fields, she has worked in a wide array of trades including painting, landscaping, dry-walling, and roofing. Dr. Crossman also loves to be active in her downtime, more recently this has included training for 2 marathons, bicycling to Portland and a regular yoga practice. However, she finds stillness equally as important and values her opportunities to slow things down.
